Poora murshad milya mainun aana jana muk gaya; Sehaj avastha hoyi praapat kashat uthana muk gaya. Rooh rani rab raja paya te kurlana muk gaya; Eh ik sabak sikhaya satguru parhan parhaana muk gaya. Aatam nun parmaatam milya dukh door hoye santaap gaye; Kahe avtar guru di kirpa chin vich ho milaap gaye. |

I have met the perfect True Master and the cycle of birth and death has ended; I have attained the (blissful) state of detachment, and there is no need to undergo rigorous penance. The soul queen has met the Supreme Lord, and the pangs of separation have ended; The True Master has taught me the lesson of one God and there is no need to read or get recited any more. The soul has found the Super Soul, and all the pains have vanished, the sorrows have gone; Avtar says, with the grace of the True Master, I have met God in a moment. |
Meaning
Here Baba Avtar Singh ji says, knowing God with the grace of True Master has helped me stay at ease in every sphere of life. Also I have now known that this is my last life.
I have met the perfect True Master and the cycle of birth and death has ended. I have attained the (blissful) state of detachment, and there is no need to undergo rigorous penance. The soul which is referred to as queen (and her king is God Almighty) has met the Supreme Lord, and the pangs of separation have ended. The True Master has taught me the lesson of one God and there is no need to read or get recited any more. The soul has found the Super Soul, and all the pains have vanished, the sorrows have gone.
He says, with the grace of the True Master, I have met God in a moment.
